The waterfall at Empang Jaleh, Kuala Lipis.

Empang Jaleh in Kuala Lipis is a recreational area with a lake and waterfall. It is located at the foothills of Gunung Tahan. This mountain, towering at a height of 2,187 metres, is the highest peak in the peninsula. Empang Jaleh is also the starting point for those climbing Gunung Tahan.

A very picturesque location that nature-lovers would not want to miss out. For birdwatchers, Bukit Taching, which is also in the vicinity, is a great place. The Terenggan Forest Park, located on the road to Padang Tengku is another attraction that merits your discovery.
