Cameron Highlands is noted for its rolling hills,
cool forest, tea plantations, fruit and
vegetable farms. The hotels and resorts at this
former colonial hill station offers a welcome
escape from the sweltering heat of the lowlands.
This former Hill Station is the most mature of all the
hill stations in Malaysia. Being a district, it
has almost all the amenities required of a full
administrative unit.
Although there are many
resorts and hotels, accommodation can really get
scarce during public and school holidays,
including weekends. It is advisable to always make
forward bookings to avoid disappointment.
